Description

•    Responsible to maintain the latest site details and availability of information on time.

•    Prioritize and follow up activities according to site/incident/event criticality and update regional office on the progress/completion

•    Clearly communicate relevant information on daily/weekly/monthly to the regional office for further action

•    Clearly update the spare/consumable/technical support requirement to respective Operations & Maintenance  (O&M) in-charge.

•    Ensure preventive actions taken place in a well-organized manner to avoid service impacts at any level

•    Maintain good working condition in sites to deliver better service for the customer and minimise network outage

•    Ensure routine activities takes place according to the agreed quality and time while updating relevant documents

•    Take permanent solutions where ever temporary solutions were given to overcome outage impacts

•    Provide feedback to region office / Dialog Towers on outsourced services  as and when required with suggestions for improvements

•    Completing tasks (Online tracking system (OTS)) within the SLA and update relevant documents where ever necessary

•    Responsible for clearing all pending alarms related to Transmission Management, Base Station subsystem (BSS), Power systems & update the Network Operations Centre (NOC)

•    Maintain good relationship with NOC / update prior & after leaving the site to ensure issues are rectified

•    Managing contractor/labours for all operational activities in the depot area and provide feedback

•    Maintain frequent communication with NOC (Power / Network Ops / Transmission Ops/ IP Ops) to get update on break down / critical alarm incident

•    Attending and rectifying all BSS, Transmission and Power related breakdowns in the depot area

•    Ensure Timely completion of tasks and escalation of issues to next level where ever required (Operations and maintenance centre – radio (OMCR) / Expert etc.)

•    Ensure corrective actions taken for incidents which are given a temporary solution

•    Provide feedback on material usage with appropriate labelling wherever required & ensure depot inventory is consistent with SAP.

•    Responsible to attend for development works on time and update Project Manager/ coordinate for variations of schedule

•    Attending for UAT/Commissioning of sites along with vendor prior to site handover for operation

•    Participate in Joint Feasibility Study (JFS) wherever necessary and feedback accordingly

•    Carryout installation and removal activities (in-house) on network elements at the respective depot to ensure timely completion

•    Provide feedback on vendor performance on the ground level as and when required

•    Plan and conduct joint surveys to verify the possible consolidation/ optimization opportunities

•    Accountable for resources attached to depot including vehicle/rigger/tools and equipment & ensure optimum usage

Entry Requirements

NVQ level 5/IVQ level 5 qualification

OR City & Guilds Advanced Diploma/ HNDE/ NDT/ NDES/ Diploma in Technology (OUSL)/ Advance Diploma in Telecommunication Technology / Advance Diploma in Information & Communication Technology/Advance Diploma in Information Technology / Advance Diploma in Construction Technology/ National Diploma in Engineering Technology etc
