Assistant Manager – Elephant House Job Vacancies 2023
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Obtain necessary approvals from the management & placing orders.
- Request for quotations and quality analysis of samples
- Ensure the stocks are available in the required quantity and quality at the required time avoiding stock outs.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure goods are delivered as per the given specifications & standards.
- Assure quality standards of incoming products through frequent engagement with suppliers & QA team.
- Regular coordination with all relevant stakeholders (both internal & external) for timely deliveries
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders & facilitate necessary requirements as & when required to ensure smooth flow of material availability for manufacturing operations.
- Frequent engagements with the factory operations team to support smooth functions in the supply chain.
Required qualifications & skills:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics/Statistics/Material Management preferably with minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Post Graduate qualifications in a similar academic area will be an added advantage.
- Broad understanding of purchasing related functional planning, inventory management, vendor management, compliance & quality of large scale FMCG industry.
- Good working knowledge of an ERP system (experience in SAP is added advantage)
- Broad knowledge of import procedures, Finance & Logistics, inventory management, compliance & quality management
- Knowledge of Legal Procedures & Global Commodity Trading Practices.
- Decision making & problem solving skills
